Founder, Host and Companion on Your Journey to Harmony

Raised on a farm in Germany, I have always felt deeply connected to nature and the rhythm of the seasons. From an early age, I learned to listen to my body, move with intention, and nurture my mind – a philosophy that has stayed with me throughout my life.

As an athlete – from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to swimming and, since recently, freediving – I am intimately in tune with both body and mind, and I understand firsthand how resilience, focus, and mental clarity are cultivated through movement, mindfulness, and self-awareness. This deep connection with my own body informs every retreat I design.

With a formal education in physics and sports science, including modules in psychology and stress management, I have developed a scientific understanding of how mental and physical health are deeply intertwined. I strongly believe that health is the foundation of a fulfilled life, and that when we care for our bodies and minds, we unlock creativity, clarity, and sustainable energy.

Through New Horizons Retreats, I create all inclusive holistic retreats designed to help high-performing individuals pause, recharge, and reconnect with themselves. Every experience is crafted with intention, care, and love – combining stress-reducing techniques, mind-body practices, and restorative moments in nature – so that participants leave not only refreshed, but equipped with tools to maintain balance and resilience in their everyday lives.

My mission is to guide you on a journey where you can reclaim your energy, enhance your mental wellbeing, and cultivate lasting inner balance, all within the serene and inspiring settings of some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes.

Chef of Nourishment and Soulful Moments

From a very young age, the kitchen has always felt like home to me. I still remember making my very first sandwiches at the age of three and pouring cereal with all the pride in the world. As the years went by, my passion for food grew deeper and more colourful. My father introduced me to the heart of Italian cuisine, while my Venezuelan grandmothers lovingly passed down her traditional recipes.

My curiosity for flavours has always been as broad as the horizon. When my grandmother returned from India with fragrant spices, I learned how food can carry entire cultures within. At 15, I was fortunate to be guided by my godfather’s wife, who opened the doors to authentic Chinese cuisine. As I later fell in love with French language and culture, I dived into their culinary world as well. All in all, my cooking became a true journey across continents – Italian, French, Venezuelan, Indian, Chinese and beyond.

Today, I bring all of this into my kitchen with one clear intention: to create healthy meals that nourish both body and mind. Cooking for me is more than preparing food – it is a way of caring, of grounding people, and of sharing love through flavours. At the New Horizons Retreats, I will craft every meal with seasonal, wholesome ingredients, designed to support your wellbeing, enhance your energy, and leave you feeling both balanced and inspired.

With every dish, my goal is to connect you with the joy of mindful eating, the richness of diverse traditions, and the simple truth that food is one of the most beautiful ways to heal, restore and come back to yourself.
